UAH Official Transcript
Request an Official Transcript
There are two ways to request an official UAH transcript.
- Fill out the transcript request form. The completed form and payment information can be sent via fax to 256.824.7780, scanned and emailed to email@example.com, mailed to our office, or dropped off in-person.
- You can also request electronic or paper official transcripts through the National Student Clearinghouse.
- In order to send PDF transcripts, you must request them through the link above.
Please note: effective August 1, 2016, a 3% convenience fee will be added to all credit/debit card payments. However, if you use the National Student Clearinghouse to request transcripts, you will not be charged the convenience fee. Send Now, Hold for Grades or Degree Statement:
If you select Send Now, your official transcripts will be available the next business day. For information on the status of your request contact the Registrar’s Office at 256.824.7777.
Hold for End of Semester Grades
If you select the Hold for End of Semester Grades transcript option, your official transcripts will not be available until all grades have been received and processed. This typically occurs 2-4 business days after the last final exam of each semester. Submit transcript request prior to the beginning of final exams. For information on the status of your request contact the Registrar’s Office at 256.824.7777.
Hold for Degree Statement
If you select the Hold for Degree Statement transcript option, your official transcripts will not be printed until final degree certification has been completed. This process typically begins 3-4 business days after the last final exam of each semester, and continues for approximately two weeks. Submit transcript request prior to the beginning of final exams. For information on the status of your request contact the Registrar’s Office at 256.824.7777.
Official transcripts are available the next business day.
If a request is mailed, please include a check or your credit/debit card information on the form.
If a request is faxed or emailed, please include your credit/debit card information on the form or payment can be taken over the phone.
In the Registrar’s Office, you can pay with check or credit/debit card. Cash can be paid in the Bursar’s Office.
The following information is required on all requests in order to process transcripts:
- Full Name
- Student ID number
- Address or fax number to where the transcript should be sent
- Signature of the student
Paper copy or electronic PDF: $10.00 per copy
FedEx: $20.00 per copy mailed
(Note: 1 FedEx does not deliver to PO box addresses. 2 Processing time is one business day.)
