University of Alabama at Birmingham Majors

Maybe you know exactly what you want to study.

Maybe you just know what you’re good at and interested in. Maybe you have no idea at all and are kind of feeling adrift (We can relate). Or maybe you see college as a wide-open opportunity to explore everything and see what jumps out and inspires you (We can relate to that, too).

UAB offers more than 120 areas of study—and even the freedom to design your own major to suit your own talents, interests, and plans. If you still can’t find something that grabs you, your academic advisor is there to help. This is the important part—we really want you to succeed and to enjoy yourself.
