University Of Aberdeen Women’s Football

In short, we are a fun, social team that LOVES football and good nights out. We train 2-3 times weekly in Aberdeen Sports Village and compete in BUCS matches against other universities on most Wednesdays throughout the year. We also participate in various tournaments during the university terms. We take football seriously and have our game face on at every match, but we also know how to celebrate a victory (or just about anything)! If you’re planning to join the team, you can expect many wacky socials and lots of fun football.

We welcome players of all abilities, so come along even if you are solely interested in learning the rules of the game! At the moment, we have about 50+ regular members (increasing each season) including our coach Scotty D!

Scott Duncan

Scott took over as coach of the team in February 2012 with the aim of not just winning matches but to also ensure that the girls learn about the game and more importantly, enjoy their football.

Having worked at Liverpool FC, Aberdeen FC and Ross County FC in the past, he brings drills and techniques used at these professional clubs to his sessions to help advance the skills and knowledge to all players no matter what their footballing ability may be.

Scott is always there on the team nights out and has yet to meet his match in a karaoke competition!

We look forward to seeing new and returning members for the 2016/2017 season.
